Foxtech was formed in November 1997 to provide Computer Aided Design (CAD) and reverse engineering services to parts manufacturers and their suppliers. Highly detailed, accurate, and stylized 3D computer models are created for product and tooling designs of prototype and production parts. The types of parts include plastic injected, sheetmetal stampings, hydaforming, and castings. Foxtech's customer base is primarily automotive, but also includes aerospace, medical, sports and consumer products.
The company is now located in East Blue Hill and anticipates job creation in the near future. Foxtech has been working closely with UMaine’s Engineering Department and anticipates employing UMaine students and graduates.

Strategic Dataworks Inc. dba Finasys
Finasys is developing web-based financial applications. They have over six years experience providing custom database design and development services to large corporations such as Lucent Technologies and Fairchild Semi-Conductor. It is currently looking to transition from custom-development and contract development to marketing a law practice management solution to lawyers and law firms. Finasys has recently graduated from the Target Technology Incubator and has transitioned into the Portland Incubator.
